Digitally Enabled Patient Centred Care for ILD
The concept of patient-centred care isn’t a new one. The ideals of treating patients as individuals, collaborative decision making, coordinated care, and care which is accessible according to patients' needs are familiar concepts - reflecting not only the way individuals would like to receive care but also how clinicians would like to deliver care. But the challenge for healthcare professionals is how to achieve patient-centred care in real life practice, given the multiple demands on clinicians’ time and healthcare service resources.
This is where we believe technology can play a fundamental role - enabling patient centred care through digital innovation.
At the forthcoming ATS2022 Respiratory Innovation Summit we'll be demonstrating how the patientMpower platform is transforming care pathways for ILD, enabling specialist clinicians to deliver truly patient-centred care despite system pressures and revolutionising patients’ access to specialist ILD services. As a preview to the summit this video, featuring IPF patient Matt Cullen and ILD specialist Prof Killian Hurley, provides an insight of how the patientMpower platform is being used in clinical practice to facilitate a patient-centred approach.
If you can't make the Innovation Summit but are attending the rest of ATS2022 we'll be at booth 606 in the exhibition hall, or to meet with us at anytime over the conference just book a time using the link below.
